On Oct. 19, Chief Delegate Huang Zhe and Delegate Yang Shaofen of the University of Northampton China Office, paid a visit to School of Economics and Management. Deputy Secretary of Party Committee Weng Suiping met with the guests. Both sides introduced basic framework of the schools and discussed about academic exchanges and future collaborations in the field of Accounting, Finance, Tourism Management and Marketing.

The University of Northampton is a higher education establishment based in Northampton, which offers students undergraduate and postgraduate courses and university degrees. The university had 13,285 students spread across its two campuses. It is divided into six schools: Arts; Science and Technology; Education; Health; Business and Social Sciences. In September 2015, the University was shortlisted for the third year in a row in the ‘Business School of the Year’ category of the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards.
